Marissa Truong Appointed Staff Recruiter for Realty Direct Boston
Realty Direct, a full-service residential real estate discount brokerage firm, with more than 30 years of experience capturing the needs of the changing market, has named Marissa Truong as an agent and staff recruiter in its new Quincy office.
In addition to her responsibilities selling properties, Truong will also recruit, hire and train agents for the Quincy office of Realty Direct.
Born in New York state, Truong made Massachusetts her home in 1986 when she entered the UMass Amherst. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications.
Prior to joining Realty Direct, Truong was employed as a Realtor for a Framingham-based agency. The former co-owner of an environmentally-safe dry cleaning firm, her career experience also includes years spent in pharmaceutical sales.
Truong holds the designation of Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), considered the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. She resides in Southboro with her husband, Tom Truong, president of Quincy-based Realty Direct, and their two daughters. Both Tom and Marissa are shareholders in the company.

Tom Truong Appointed President of Realty Direct in Quincy Massachusetts
Realty Direct, a residential real estate discount brokerage firm, named Tom Truong president of its new Quincy office. Truong will oversee cash back programs of up to 1.5 percent of the sales price and Realty Direct commissions of 3.99 percent. His prior work experience includes having serviced as director of business for Amity Insurance and as CFO for three New England branches of a Chicago-based insurance carrier.

An active member of the community, Truong is a member of the board of directors for the Habitat for Humanity in Boston and a member of EMSI an organization of UMass graduates and entrepreneurs who volunteer their expertise to nonprofit organizations.
